The story
Nobody else was doing this when I started.
Untangle My Web launched in 2007. I was on a plane twice a week, delivering face-to-face digital marketing training to tourism operators across every state. Most hadn't built a website yet. There was no community to keep them going after the session, so I built one.
That became Tourism Tribe. We built one of Australia's first online business communities in 2009, developed the ATDW Tourism e-Kit (300,000+ downloads, national awards), and trained more than 16,000 operators across every state and territory. The Australian Government funded the national expansion through Navii. $1.9 million to do for all Australian small business what we had done for tourism.
Every technology wave (broadband, mobile, social, platform) I was in the middle of it with operators who had no time for theory. When AI arrived I did not commission a report. I built. Within eighteen months I had fifty agents in production running my own business.
In 2026 I founded Velluto, an AI-native medical platform for GP practices. Live, real clinicians, real patients. Not a pilot.
